I set colours to reveal the different materials across all walls of the ‘Fishbowl room’ in London College of Communication.

Blue: Glass
Green: Wood
Yellow: Plastic
Red: Brick

The first experiment consisted of placing coloured tape along the walls of the room to denote the materials the walls were made of.

The book expresses linear marks throughout all its pages, this refers back to the wall of the room. The colours denote the materials that run throughout the circumference of the room. The length of the lines directly link to the length of the outter wall of the room.

The following book depicts the same information, although consists of separate wall materials at a time. These lines run vertically and have been divided by 10 to create shorter lengths that can be easily viewed and compared with one another. The book comes with a ruler that converts the lengths back to their original lengths.
