Concept Concept: Chocoholics unite!


Unite. Be part of something bigger. Create postive change

Dechox is one of the British Heart Foundations biggest fundraising campaigns. Followers are invited to cut chocolate out of their diets for one month during October & raise funds for the cause, Every year the concept is refreshed.

This concept was drawn upon insights around Dechox participants wanting to feel more emotionally connected to cause. working closely with a copywriter we came up with a concept based around ‘Chocoholics Unite’. This concept is about giving fundraisers the feeling of being part of something bigger, coming together to create positive change. It makes Dechox less about the sacrifice & more about using fundraising challenge as a megaphone for all the issues around research funding.

The accompanying visuals & copy are centred around the challenge that is giving up chocolate & other sweet treats.

I designed & created bespoke illustrations & animations which consisted of social posts, paid ads, micro site banners, iconography, metal medal design, email signatures, affirmation cards, certificates & passes.
